Q: “Why don’t you put pricing and specs on the site? A: “ We would much rather speak with you personally, as this is a big decision and most if not all prices and specs will depend entirely on how you want to build the car, or how you want us to build it for you. We build just the first one to our specs and then you build all the rest. We can certainly tell you what the specs and prices are if we built exactly the way we did the first one, but in our experience, that seldom if ever happens, unless it is a “body kit only” and even then some kits have options!” We encourage anyone interested in our cars to visit our design studio to get a first hand look at what you are considering purchasing. As an example, the “Dena” shown on our site was built on a donor VW and those costs can vary substantially depending on the condition of the donor. We prefer that you get to know us and we you! We want to make this your car your way! Q: “how about a ”ball park” figure? A: “Suggest that you get yourself a copy of Kit Car Magazine or Hotrodder and check out the current marketplace pricing.” Q: “How long have you been in the business?” A: “Merlin Cofano, the designer/artist has been around the car industry for over 3 decades. He knows this business inside and out and has won several awards for his designs at car shows all over California.” Our current design studio in Cotati is going on it’s fourth year with shops going all the way back to “Eagle” which he sold years ago.” Merlin can talk cars as well as anyone out there. Our most recent acquisition is a 1927 T-Roadster which we are restoring and also offering to build as a “kit”. The photo is Merlin with his daughter Dena in the roadster outside our design studio, and yes, the Dena is named after his daughter!
